Heather Kenny is a dynamic Science of Reading (SOR) expert and national SOR presenter. With over 25 years in education, she has served as a classroom teacher and reading tutor. Heather works closely with schools and districts to support teachers in implementing practical, science-based instructional techniques that benefit all students. Heather understands the challenges that today's educators face as they strive to address the needs of all readers. Her sessions empower teachers with knowledge, skills, and practical applications of the most current Science of Reading research.
Emily Muccianti is as an experienced reading specialist with a passion for empowering schools to design and implement robust, research-based intervention programs. During her 30 years in education, Emily's expertise in Science of Reading instruction, data analysis, and collaborative coaching propelled three of her four intervention programs to earn prestigious Golden Bell and Distinguished School awards. As a reading interventionist, Emily has a deep understanding of the challenges and frustrations teachers face when working to close achievement gaps. She has presented her school-wide approach to effective reading intervention at conferences, sharing the transformative impact it had on student outcomes. You'll leave inspired by her warmth, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping every child become a confident, joyful reader.
