Yamiley Jean-Simon is an experienced co-teacher and presenter. Yamiley first started utilizing the Marilyn Friend co-teaching strategies in inclusive classrooms as a special education teacher. She experienced such effective results that she returned for more training in order to become the district's co-teaching trainer. Over the years, she has collected a wide variety of strategies and tactics to leverage the co-teaching partnership in a wide variety of classrooms. As a Special Education leader, Yamiley enjoyed helping teachers learn her classroom tested strategic supports tailored for student growth and success. She is also the author of Strengthening Your CO-TEACHING: Practical Ideas for Improving Student Success, the comprehensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
