Lisa Parry is a veteran English/Language Arts teacher with more than 30 years of experience in secondary classrooms. She has taught a wide range of courses, from foundational English to AP Language and Composition, and is recognized for helping students engage with complex texts while expressing their ideas with clarity and confidence using strategies based in Reading Science. In addition to her classroom work, Lisa has led teachers in their adoption of Science of Reading methods and materials, guiding colleagues as they embraced research-based routines. Her work emphasizes making literacy instruction more engaging and effective without sacrificing rigor.

Lisa's innovative approaches, including her use of AI as an instructional tool, have been highlighted by Wired Magazine and USA Today. She is passionate about equipping teachers with classroom-tested Science of Reading practices that support struggling readers, challenge high achievers, and elevate outcomes for all.
