About Your Instructor – Angela Searcy

Angela Searcy is a teacher and international presenter who is passionate about helping educators working with young students with challenging behaviors and Executive Function challenges. She brings experience as a development therapist and educational consultant, specializing in early intervention strategies. Angela has been featured on WGN Channel 9 Morning News, WGN's Midday Fix and Public Radio. She holds a M.S. degree in early childhood development, a doctorate in education and has researched interventions for improving behavior in classrooms. Angela is author of Push Past-It! A Positive Approach to Challenging Classroom Behaviors (Gryphon House Publishing, 2019) She is also the author of Strengthening Your Students' EXECUTIVE FUNCTION SKILLS (PreK to Grade 2), the extensive digital resource handbook you will receive at the seminar.
