Angela Searcy is a teacher, author, therapist, and international presenter who is passionate about helping educators working with young students who struggle. She brings experience as a neuro-development therapist, educational and mental health consultant, specializing in early intervention strategies. Angela has been featured on WGN Channel 9 Morning News, WGN's Midday Fix and Public Radio. She holds a Master of Science degree in early childhood development, a Doctorate in education and has researched interventions for improving learning and behavior in classrooms.

Angela is author of Push Past-It! A Positive Approach to Challenging Classroom Behaviors (Gryphon House Publishing, 2019) and Elevating Equity: Advice for Navigating Challenging Conversations in Early Childhood Programs (Gryphon House Publishing, 2023) She is also the author of Helping Young Students Who Struggle: Practical Early Intervention Strategies (Grades PreK-2), the extensive digital resource handbook you will receive at the seminar.
