Melissa Davis brings over 20 years of experience working with grades PreK-2 students. As a special and general education teacher she has worked with diverse students, including those with developmental delays, emotional challenges, and disruptive behaviors. Driven by a passion for helping all children achieve success and a deep understanding gained from working with challenging students, Melissa leverages her expertise to present at conferences and schools nationwide.

Her approach emphasizes proactive teaching strategies that empower educators to address potential behavior issues before they escalate, while equipping students with essential tools for self-regulation and emotional control, ultimately leading to more positive and productive learning environments. Melissa is the author of the children's book, My Boy and His ADHD: A Dog's Perspective (2026). She is also the author of Reducing Disruptive Behaviors While Increasing Self-Regulation (Grades PreK-2), the extensive digital resource handbook you will receive at the seminar.
