Emily Muccianti is an experienced reading specialist and MTSS expert with a passion for empowering schools to design and implement robust, research-based intervention programs. During her 31 years in education, Emily's expertise in reading instruction, data analysis, and collaborative coaching propelled three of her four intervention programs to earn prestigious Golden Bell and Distinguished School awards. As a reading interventionist, Emily has a deep understanding of the challenges and frustrations teachers face when working to close achievement gaps.
She has presented her school-wide approach to effective reading intervention at conferences, sharing the transformative impact it had on student outcomes. Emily is the author of Strengthen Your MTSS Reading Intervention Framework: Strategies for Tiers 2 and 3 (Grades K-6), the extensive digital resource handbook she developed just for this two-day, strategy-packed institute that can be used immediately to elevate any MTSS reading intervention program.
