A Message From Your Seminar Leader

Dear Colleague:

As educators who work with gifted and advanced learners, we are constantly seeking meaningful ways to engage and stimulate our students in ways that help them develop their potential as learners and leaders. We cannot be content with just teaching facts within subject areas. We must find ways to challenge our gifted and highly capable students to struggle with important issues and grapple with difficult problems in an accepting and intellectually stimulating environment. We must set high standards for gifted learners and then provide them with the support they need to reach those standards.

One of my goals as an educator is to encourage students to become lifelong learners who question what they encounter and seek out truth and knowledge. With this in mind, the activities in this seminar are structured to promote independent thinking, decision making, teamwork, and a strong sense of self-worth. There are many ways to support these students; we must constantly search for and employ the best ideas and add them to our toolbox. During this seminar, I will present a wide variety of practical strategies, methods, and tools to use with your gifted students and advanced learners.

Please join me for an energizing day full of ideas that can be used in your classroom immediately. I look forward to meeting you in the seminar and sharing with you the best strategies and techniques I have discovered.

Sincerely,
Michelle Swain

P.S. Join me for a great day of practical, easily implemented strategies and leave with an extensive digital resource handbook containing dozens of free resources designed specifically for this seminar!
