A Message From Your Seminar Leader
Dear Colleague:
I've received many compliments during my professional career, but the one I most appreciate came from a colleague with whom I shared many students during my years of teaching. She told me that I always had a way of "helping students understand things differently." Fast forward in my career to my current roles and I'm told that I never give up on any student, regardless of the challenges that we face. Much like you, I don't! Those students who need extra help are my reason for being a teacher. And, as I'm sure you've done in your career, when you've figured out a strategy that works, you are excited to share that with a colleague!
It is so fortunate that we don't have to reinvent the wheel in order to create and implement high quality tiered interventions. RTI puts into place a system that is sensitive to the learning needs and progress of all students. So I am beyond excited to be able to share with you my best classroom-tested intervention strategies and resources to help you help your students "understand things differently." Full disclosure: these ideas won't come just from my instructional toolbox. I've put together folders and folders of ideas, many which come from working with innovative educators across the country. These no-cost, tried-and-true techniques will help you provide meaningful learning experiences for your students during Tiers I, II, and III.
Our day together will be filled with interactive, hands-on learning activities that demonstrate the strategies in action. I look forward to meeting and working with you during this engaging, strategy-packed day.
Sincerely,
Lynne Ecenbarger
P.S. Join me for a full day of interactive learning how to strengthen your RTI Instructional Implementation in Reading and leave with a wealth of powerful intervention strategies to reach and teach all your students.
