We are past the point of being able to ignore or simply ban AI from our schools and classrooms; instead, we need to understand how to leverage these technologies to improve student outcomes, differentiate instruction, and improve student engagement while teaching students how to navigate these tools ethically.
Based on my years of experience as a science educator, I'm excited about the potential of AI tools to transform the way we teach and how our students learn science. In this seminar, we will explore the AI platforms that are the best suited for science classrooms and learn how to best utilize these technologies to streamline our practice while improving outcomes for students. I will teach you to avoid the common pitfalls associated with AI technologies and provide you with practical, effective tools and strategies you can use to teach your students how to use AI ethically and responsibly.
