A Message From Your Seminar Leader

Dear Colleague:

First Graders. What comes to mind when you hear that? Perhaps you're new to teaching First Grade or a seasoned First Grade teacher eager to recharge. We can all agree that the landscape of teaching First Grade is evolving, as we strive to keep pace with these amazing six- and seven-year-olds while providing them with the education they deserve.

Somewhere during first grade, our students transition from being primary learners to developing characteristics of more independent learners. This brings unique rewards and challenges that can catch us by surprise. Additionally, physical, cognitive, and social-emotional milestones occur during this pivotal school year, alongside increased expectations for testing, productivity, and quality work.

In this one-day seminar crafted specifically for First Grade educators, we will explore the changes and challenges, and I will share with you the proven strategies and solutions I have developed over the years of teaching First Grade.

As First Grade teachers, we aim to provide engaging, meaningful lessons that challenge students at every level. The strategies and practices I will share will help us achieve this goal! All the strategies and tools I present are classroom-tested and highly practical. You will depart with a collection of ideas and activities that you can implement in your First Grade classroom the very next day. I look forward to spending the day with you at this seminar designed just for YOU!

Sincerely,
Cathy Collier

P.S. You will also receive the extensive digital resource handbook I created specifically for this FIRST GRADE seminar, filled with the ideas and strategies we will discuss throughout our day together.
