About the Instructor – Diane Murphy

Diane Murphy is an experienced educator, an enthusiastic presenter and a National Board Certified teacher in literacy. She has extensive experience as a primary teacher, presenter and teacher trainer. Diane will share dozens of strategies and the latest ideas and techniques to help your young students develop their writing skills as early, emerging or developing writers.

Diane is the author of WRITING STRATEGIES THAT WORK! Practical Ways to Use Six Traits and Mini‑Lessons in Your Writing Instruction (Grades K‑2), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. You will leave this seminar with a wealth of practical writing strategies, activities, management and assessment ideas you can easily implement in your own K‑2 classroom.
