About the Instructor – Desiree Alexander

Desiree Alexander is an experienced secondary ELA teacher and Google Certified Innovator and Trainer. Desiree has been a Featured Presenter at many international conferences, such as ISTE, FETC, TCCA and more. Desiree has received numerous awards for her work in instructional technology including Top 30 Technologist by the Center for Digital Education, PBS Learning Media Digital Innovator for her home state and Leader of the Year for her region's Association of Computer Using Educators.

Desiree is passionate about helping fellow ELA teachers discover practical ways to leverage Google Classroom, tools, apps, and Chrome extensions to greatly enhance ELA learning in their classrooms. Desiree has co-authored multiple books and is the author of Making Best Use of Google Classroom to Strengthen Your ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS Instruction (Grades 6-12), the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
