Dr. Desiree Alexander is an experienced secondary ELA teacher and Google Certified Innovator and Trainer who has taught in the traditional classroom, blended learning and distance learning environments. Desiree has received numerous awards for her work in instructional technology including Top 30 Technologist by the Center for Digital Education, PBS Learning Media Digital Innovator for her home state and Leader of the Year for her region's Association of Computer Using Educators.
Desiree is passionate about helping fellow secondary ELA teachers discover practical ways to find success while distance learning by leveraging Google and other cutting-edge technology tools to greatly enhance learning in their English/Language Arts classrooms. Desiree has co-authored multiple books and is the author of DISTANCE LEARNING: Strengthening Online ENGLISH/LANGUAGE ARTS Instruction, the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
