Glenn Wiebe has many years of Social Studies teaching experience at the secondary level. He is the author of The Social Studies FIELD Guide: Strategies & Tools to Captivate Students, Cultivate Critical Thinking, and Create Engaged Citizens and AI in Social Studies: Practical Tools and Time-Saving Strategies (Grades 6-12), the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. Additional authorships include his award-winning website History Tech and published articles in the National Social Studies Leaders Association journal and the Teaching History website.
Long active on the board of his state council for the Social Studies, Glenn is currently the Past President of the National Social Studies Leaders Association, serves on the advisory board of the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources program, serves as a State representative on the National Geographic Advisory Committee, and is a member of the iCivics Educator Network. He presents breakout sessions and keynotes at state and national conferences around the country.
