Experienced as an elementary classroom teacher, K-5 reading specialist, and district literacy coach, Kathryn Starke is an outstanding presenter with an exceptional depth of knowledge about the most effective literacy practices. Passionate about the importance for every student to become an engaged, independent reader, she travels across the country helping schools achieve greater literacy success by motivating, supporting and inspiring students, teachers and educational leaders.
Kathryn is the author of Best Strategies for Helping Your Students Become Successful, Independent Readers (Grades 3-6), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. Additional authorships include Tackle Reading (Creative Minds Publications, 2017) and Amy’s Travels (Creative Minds Publications, 2012).
