About the Instructor – Rebecca Gault

Rebecca Rozmiarek is an enthusiastic presenter, master classroom teacher, an English Department Chair, and School Improvement Facilitator, who has worked with both students and teachers across the curriculum in grades
6-12. She works with teachers to develop and implement effective reading strategies across the grade levels. Rebecca’s presentations are filled with practical strategies, student examples and creative ideas that you can use in your own classroom tomorrow.

Rebecca is a teacher consultant for her state writing project. Her presentation shows her knowledge of the research, but all of her ideas are practical and ready-to-use. She is the author of the resource handbook for this seminar, RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION: Practical Strategies for Supporting Struggling Readers (Grades 6-12), which will be provided to each participant. Rebecca’s experience and enthusiasm about teaching reading will ensure that you leave this seminar with the tools necessary to integrate effective reading strategies into your classroom.
