Experienced as an elementary classroom teacher, K-5 reading specialist, and district literacy coach, KATHRYN STARKE is an outstanding presenter with an exceptional depth of knowledge about the most effective literacy practices. Passionate about the importance for every student to become an engaged, independent reader, she travels across the country helping schools achieve greater literacy success by motivating, supporting and inspiring students, teachers and educational leaders. Kathryn is the author of Helping Your Struggling Readers Become More Successful Readers: Targeted Interventions that Work! (Grades K-5), the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. Additional authorships include Tackle Reading (Creative Minds Publications, 2017) and Amy's Travels (Creative Minds Publications, 2012).
