She is a published author, curriculum writer for literacy differentiation, and passionate international presenter on using structured literacy to support students with dyslexia. During the past 20 years, Jessica has directly served the reading needs of students in her classroom while leading colleagues as an instructional specialist, administrator, adjunct lecturer, and elementary curriculum and instruction coordinator. Through her ongoing work with schools worldwide, Jessica regularly designs, analyzes, and implements curricula that are customized to the needs of struggling students, including those who have or may have dyslexia. Taking abstract theory and making it highly practical for classroom teachers is her specialty.
