In addition to being a popular presenter, Beatrice is a past board member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), an ELL instructor and the author of several mathematics textbooks. She has also authored Improving the Math Skills of ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS: Practical Strategies for Strengthening Mathematical Content and Language Skills in Grades 1-8, the extensive resourcehandbook each participate willreceive at the seminar.Spending a day with Beatriceis a valuable experience.
