MARJORIE (MARGE) PORTER has completed extensive graduate work in the field of Environmental Education and she taught environmental science at the high school level for over two decades. Marge is passionate about the need to involve young people in authentic science investigation, knowing that it is essential to their overall development and eventual career choice. Marge truly enjoys opportunities to work with and support educators in their efforts to encourage science exploration and inquiry in their classrooms. She is a graduate of the rigorous "NGSX" Science Exemplar mentor training program and conducts professional development seminars in environmental science, both regionally and nationally. She is the author of Strengthen Your ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE Program: Practical Strategies (Grades 6-12), the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
