Shared reading provides children with engaging, low-risk opportunities to apply and practice essential literacy behaviors. Shared reading, implemented effectively, strengthens children's competence and confidence as readers.
In this PD Resource Kit, participants will see kindergarten, first and second grade students actively involved in shared reading.
