He is the Lead Coordinator of library media services for his county office of education and vice president of professional development for his state’s school library association. Jonathan reviews and writes articles for the Horn Book Magazine. He blogged at School Library Journal for nearly a decade, has taught graduate classes in children’s literature and has served on numerous award committees including the Newbery Medal, Caldecott Medal, Printz Award, Los Angeles Times Book Prize, and the Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards.
