For the first time in many years, I see our social studies students in Grades 6-12 fired up about our country and democracy. Our students' ability to not just learn ABOUT social studies, but to learn FROM social studies is imperative to their future. There isn't a better, nor a more important time to do the work we do.

As teachers, we must find a way to take what we know works in the classroom and adapt it for when we may be teaching virtually.
