Tricia Wells is an experienced classroom teacher, principal, behavioral specialist consultant, and staff developer known for her expertise on Restorative Practices. She has extensive experience supervising programs for students with behavior disorders, including serving as the assistant principal in charge of discipline at Boys Town, Nebraska. Tricia is the co-author of numerous training materials in use by hundreds of schools throughout North America who have significantly improved the effectiveness of their discipline referral process. Tricia is a proven Restorative Practices teacher and offers practical, proven strategies to effectively improve student behavior.
Jorge Elvir is an experienced educator with many years of experience addressing difficult, disruptive student behaviors at the classroom and building level. Jorge loves sharing Restorative Discipline strategies that reduce the need for traditional discipline, resulting in increased instructional minutes, engagement, learning, and student growth. High energy, passionate and "real" – Jorge shares proven strategies for addressing highly disruptive and/or dangerous behaviors. As a school administrator, Jorge was key in developing and implementing a highly effective school-wide Restorative Discipline program as an alternative to traditional disciplinary practices.
Maryann Brittingham is a highly experienced teacher, national presenter and leading expert in working with challenging behavior and using Restorative Practices. She is known for her motivational sessions that inspire and give teachers the specific strategies they need to make positive changes to increase students' success. She brings not only her extensive knowledge of what drives behavior and the science behind it, but strategies and practices you will be able to put into practice to help students own and use the strategies themselves.
