A Message From Your Seminar Leader

Dear Colleague:

As an educator, I know firsthand how challenging our job has become. Students across the nation are in great need of high quality Social Emotional Learning (SEL). It is a challenge for many educators to teach social and emotional competencies in any environment. But we are all aware of the importance of building relationships with students, helping students to manage their attention, make responsible decisions, and more.

Teachers, schools, and districts struggle with implementation of SEL due to budget constraints, confusion around how best to use programs, and buy in from staff. My collaboration with educators like you who are trying to teach students who are in need of a strong SEL program has led to the creation of this two-day institute.

I invite you to spend two days with me to learn new strategies that support our efforts to provide the best SEL program for our students. Whether you are beginning this journey or already underway, I will share with you the systems, strategies and resources to create the best SEL program for your students without the need to buy a specific curriculum. Join me as I share practical techniques, strategies, and tips you can immediately apply to improve the experience of all of your grades K-12 students.

My goal for our time together is for you to leave with many new, practical tools and a plan to successfully implement a SEL program based on the latest research and best practices. This institute is designed for you to walk away ready to take your SEL program to the next level.

Please join me to strengthen your toolkit, avoid common pitfalls and leave with new resources. I am excited to help you develop a plan to help improve the behavior of your students with an even stronger SEL program than you have today!

Jennifer Rogers

P.S. You will leave this institute with dozens of practical ideas and an extensive digital resource handbook to help you implement the strategies as soon as you return to your school!
