We have many experiences from which to learn from each other in this. I have personally experienced the frustration of having students who seemed to fall between the cracks or just hold back for some reason, and I am sure that you have experienced this, too. So much has been learned during my many years as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing services in the school setting, and I am thrilled to share with you my tried and true tips, concepts and strategies that work in-person and online.

How we process information and use our knowledge for increased impact is a challenge for all ages. What have you tried for the student who is seemingly "shy" to achieve increased engagement? In the classroom, whether it be large or small group, in-person or online, how can we support those students with language processing weaknesses to feel social and academically connected? During our time together we will engage in activities and practice strategies as we role play what we can say as educators to support the student with a Language Processing Disorder in the classroom and virtual learning environment.
