Kelly Harmon is an international educational consultant with more than 25 years of experience working with struggling readers. Her engaging presentations provide a wealth of real and practical reading strategies any teacher could use immediately. Her work with teachers and school teams in organizing program structures, developing teacher expertise in instruction and fine-tuning assessment practices for targeted instruction has led to increased student achievement and has given her international recognition as an expert in the field.
Dr. Mary Howard is a much sought-after national literacy consultant. She has extensive experience in Guided Reading, Reading Recovery and Title I as well as experience as a reading specialist and coach. Mary continues to work with children through in-school support. She is the author of the Heinemann books RTI from All Sides and Good to Great Teaching.
Mary Peterson is an enthusiastic, grades K-6 teacher with decades of teaching experience and is known for her highly motivating, very practical ideas and strategies for helping teachers to work smarter, not harder, in their classrooms. She is an expert in teaching reading to all students, particularly those who struggle. Participants regularly praise Mary's down-to-earth, practical, idea-packed sessions for helping struggling readers.
