Diane Murphy is an outstanding, experienced Guided Reading Coach, reading specialist and energetic national presenter. Diane will share with you only the strategies and ideas that she has found really work with all readers â€“ from the struggling to high achievers. You will find all her sessions to be fast paced and filled with practical ideas you can easily use in your own Guided Reading program.
Mary Peterson is an enthusiastic teacher known for her highly motivating ideas and the practicality of her sessions. She brings years of experience teaching guided reading in grades K-6 along with no-nonsense, research-based strategies and activities that you can apply and adapt to fit the needs of your students. Her sessions are fast-paced, inspiring and above all, practical! You will leave her sessions with dozens of ideas, strategies, tips, and tools you can use immediately!
Heather Kenny is an outstanding teacher and presenter. She has served as a classroom teacher, reading interventionist, dyslexia tutor, and reading consultant. Heather understands the challenges that today's educators face as they strive to address the needs of all readers. She is passionate about empowering teachers with knowledge and skills so that they are well-equipped to provide their students with optimally-effective Guided Reading instruction.

Registrants will also receive a printed copy of the resource handbook as long as their registration is received in the BER office at least 15 calendar days before the event.
Semester Credit Option
Up to four graduate level professional development credits are available with an additional fee and completion of follow-up practicum activities. Details for direct enrollment with University of Massachusetts Global, a nonprofit affiliate, will be available at this program.
Meet Inservice Requirements
At the end of the program, each attendee will receive a certificate of participation that may be used to verify hours of participation in meeting continuing education requirements.
