Kathy Sage has over 27 years of experience as a classroom teacher and technology educator. She is currently teaching at Harold S. Winograd K-8 Public School in Greeley, Colorado. Selected as her district’s Teacher of the Year, she strives to motivate and educate children to become responsible, involved self-advocates for the achievement of their goals and dreams.

Kathy has conducted a variety of educational seminars throughout the United States and Canada. She shares her interests, ideas and expertise in helping classroom teachers mesh technology tools and techniques with their instruction to increase student learning, achievement and their passion for learning. Her emphasis stays focused on the realities of the classroom while finding ways to adapt cutting-edge technology strategies to instructional needs.

Kathy is the author of a number of handbooks about reading, writing, and technology instruction. She is also the author of Making the Best Use of Blogs, Wikis, Webcasts, and Other Web 2.0 Tools to Enrich Student Learning (Grades K-6), the comprehensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
