Mary Peterson is an enthusiastic, primary-level teacher with over 28 years of teaching experience and is known for her highly motivating, very practical ideas and strategies for teachers to work smarter, not harder, in their classrooms. She is an expert in implementing powerful math instruction and independent practice through the use of math work stations.
Mary is the author of two professional books from Scholastic: Extra Practice Math Centers: Addition, Subtraction and More and Extra Practice Math Centers: Multiplication, Division and More. She is also the author of Differentiated, Timesaving MATH WORK STATIONS: Strategies that Work!, (Grades K-2), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
