Sherri Adler is an outstanding math educator, a co-author of several mathematics books and a national presenter who is known for her innovation, enthusiasm and practical ideas for teaching problem-solving skills that enable students to meet or exceed the Common Core standards. Most recently, she was part of a statewide writing team that created curriculum aligned to the Common Core.
Sherri brings to her seminars her rich experience as a classroom teacher, a math resource teacher and a mentor who provides outstanding training for student teachers as well as current classroom teachers. She has taught in public, private and charter schools, been a popular speaker at national math conferences and trained numerous educators at schools in the United States, Europe and South America in the highly effective problem-solving techniques she shares during her seminars. In addition, Sherri is the author of Helping Your Students Meet or Exceed Common Core MATH PROBLEM-SOLVING STANDARDS (Grades 3-5), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
