Mary Peterson is an enthusiastic teacher with over 28 years of teaching experience and is known for her highly motivating, very practical ideas and strategies for teachers to work smarter, not harder, in their classrooms. She is an expert in implementing powerful instruction and independent practice through the use of work stations.

Mary is the author of two professional books from Scholastic: Extra Practice Math Centers: Addition, Subtraction and More and Extra Practice Math Centers: Multiplication, Division and More. She is also the author of Increase Student Learning with Differentiated Work Stations that Keep Students Engaged in Productive Work and Allow You to Work with Small Groups (Grades 3-6), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. Mary’s seminars are exciting, fun, practical, and packed with teacher-friendly, student-centered ideas.
