With more than 21 years of experience as a classroom teacher and math consultant, she has worked extensively with regular and special education students, bilingual and ELL students, classroom teachers, and math coaches. Nicki knows the challenges and rewards of working with students who have widely diverse needs in mathematics and she has seen remarkable improvement in student learning when using guided math groups and math learning centers.

Nicki provides practical, effective strategies for planning, organizing, implementing, and managing guided math groups and her presentations are firmly grounded in research-based, teacher-friendly techniques to meet the needs of today’s math learners.
