MARSHA GELLER is an experienced special education teacher and engaging presenter with more than 30 years of experience working with students with dyslexia. Throughout her career, Marsha has worked not only with teachers, but also directly with hundreds of students with dyslexia. She has prepared classroom teachers, special educators, reading specialists, speech-language pathologists, and private clinicians to work successfully with their dyslexic students. As a former university instructor, she was responsible for designing and teaching classes on reading disabilities and remediation. She also maintains a private practice working directly with students with dyslexia. It is her greatest joy to watch as a struggling, discouraged reader becomes more successful and confident.
Marsha is the author of DYSLEXIA: Best Targeted Interventions to Accelerate Greater Literacy Success (Grades K-6), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar. Additional authorships include the SLANT System for Structured Language Training.
