Learning to talk is a natural process. Learning to read is not – it must be taught through explicit phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension instruction. We have exciting, new brain research that shows what happens inside the brains of proficient and struggling readers.

During our day together, we will unpack this research and learn very practical ways to apply it to build a phonics framework that provides all young students with a strong foundation and prevents them from years of struggling.
