A Message From Your Seminar Leader

Dear Colleague:

Every teacher has that one student, or that one moment, that they never forget. The time when you see that a student is bright, but they cannot read or complete a task that is being asked of them. This was my moment when I learned I needed to understand more about teaching reading so I could do better for my students. This is what led to my passion for teaching students with dyslexia.

Students with reading difficulties can be challenging. Have you ever asked, “How do I know what to do? Why is what I am teaching not working? Why is this student not benefitting from this type of instruction? How can I support students with dyslexia, and what is different about teaching them versus the others in my class?”. This session is made to help answer these questions and more! These students can be successful and I am going to teach you how to be successful with these students with some clear take-aways that you can implement immediately.

It is always been my philosophy that it is not just about a program, but the teacher. There are many programs, strategies, and interventions out there, and sometimes there is so much information that it is overwhelming. We are going to dive into the research, explore different resources, tackle your most pressing questions regarding teaching reading to your most difficult students in a way that will maximize your outcomes for students.

I have dedicated my career to students with dyslexia. It is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share with you all that I have learned throughout the years that are scientifically proven and evidence-based. I look forward to our time together sharing with you the many things I know about teaching reading, so that all of your students can be successful.

Can’t wait to see you at the seminar!

Sincerely,
Marcy Eisinger

P.S. As an experienced special educator, I understand the unique challenges you face daily in your instruction. This seminar is designed to give you and your students with dyslexia a pathway to greater success!
