Darla Wood-Walters is an acclaimed kindergarten teacher, author and outstanding nationally recognized presenter. Experienced as a kindergarten teacher, special education teacher, speech and language clinician, tutor, teacher trainer, program developer, and writing coach, Darla brings over 35 years of experience working with students and teachers. Through extensive work in New Zealand, Canada and the U.S., Darla has gained insight and knowledge on how to incorporate powerful learning opportunities into programs for young students.

She is the recipient of a Rotary International Scholarship for Teachers, a Distinguished Educator Award and an Excellence in Kindergarten Literacy Award. She is the author of the extensive, comprehensive resource handbook, Practical Strategies for Helping Your KINDERGARTNERS Meet the Common Core State Standards, thateach participant will receive at the seminar.
